Welcome to Repulse Bay
Repulse Bay is located right on the Arctic Circle, at the northern shore of the bay. Steep cliffs run along the coastline. The bay is rich with marine life including:
- Bearded seals
- Harp seals
- Harbor seals
- polar bears
- walrus
Ecotourism trips are available in Repulse Bay and to outlying areas such as Wager Bay, site of the proposed Ukkusiksalik National Park. Ukkusiksalik Park is home to a variety of arctic animals and plants. This is Canada's newest national park.
